This song gained popularity in Thailand and other Southeast Asian regions, particularly after its feature in the 2010 Thai movie “Luang Phi Teng 3” (also known as “The Holy Man 3”). 
In 2019, Indonesian folk performer Niken Salindry incorporated the phrase into her performances, showcasing her multilingual singing abilities.
